In December, 2010, the city of Malmo, in Sweden, completed a rail link called “Citytunneln”, that connected their northern and southern rail lines, and the international line extending to Copenhagen, Denmark. The project, which included two rail tunnels 3.7 miles long, and three new stations, was completed 6 months ahead of schedule, in just 5 years, at a cost of $1 Billion.
